Itinerary:

Day 1: 

Arrival at Queen Alia Airport. Meet & Assist by the Expeditions Airport Representative who will assist you through passport control/immigration, luggage pick up and customs before introducing you to your driver. Head to Amman (40 minutes) for a panoramic city tour before checking into your Hotel in Amman.

Day 2: 

After breakfast, begin your Amman City Tour. Visit the Citadel, Amphitheater and Museum and walk around the downtown area of the capital city. Then drive North to Jerash (50 minutes). Time for lunch before visiting the Greco Roman city. Return in the afternoon to Amman. Overnight in Amman.

Day 3: 

After breakfast, drive south towards the town of Madaba (45 minutes). Visit the Orthodox Church of St George home to the famous mosaic map of the Holy Land, before heading to Mount Nebo (15 minutes) to visit the monastery reputed to be the tomb of Moses Continue the drive south towards Shobak (2.5 hours). Visit the Crusader Castle of Montreal before arriving in Petra (40 minutes). Overnight Petra.

Day 4: 

Breakfast before a Full Day guided tour of Petra. Overnight in Petra.

Day 5: 

Breakfast, then head to Wadi Rum (2 Hours). On arrival check into your camp in this desert. Then take a 2 hour 4WD tour in the Beduin vehicles. Enjoy a cup of tea with the beduins before returning to your camp. Spend the evening around the fire, in your tent or counting the stars in the dark sky. Beduin Dinner & Overnight at the camp.

Day 6: 

Breakfast and then Head to the Dead Sea. Check into your resort and enjoy the therapeutic waters of the saltiest lake in the world located at around 400 meters below sea level. Overnight at the Dead Sea.

Day 7: 

Breakfast, check out and head to the Baptism Site of Jesus Christ on the Jordan River. Take a tour of the site before driving to Amman. Walk around the new part of the city and have dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight in Amman.

Day 8: 

Head to the Airport for Departure
